Final Monday

Time really flies when you’re having fun. This Monday was the last Monday for the semester and it was a stressful one to say the least. We had a test and a final presentation. The final presentation was the funniest one that Ive had in my whole career of going to school. First of all, we decided to wear Christmas jumpers, which is something that I am not accustomed to wearing in a presentation. I thought it was a joke when the professor said we didn’t have to dress up. But, he wasn’t. So, my partner said why don’t we wear Christmas jumpers just for the craic. So we did. And I wore his, an elf jumper. What a show it was. That wasn’t the best part of the presentation though. We also decided to have an intro to our presentation. My group mate decided to have a particular intro. He decided to walk into the presentation the same way popular boxer, Connor Mcgregor walks in as well with the same music. It was a show and overall good presentation I’d say.

Monday wasn’t the end to the madness though, as my paper finals were due Friday and I was catching a train to the Dublin airport to start my Christmas vacation abroad. Friday was a long day. I got to attend an event hosted by Sport Changes Life, Mary Peters and Daly Thompson. I got to meet the chair of Ulster University, Mr. James Nesbitt. I wont forget to mention but he’s also an actor who starred in the Hobbit. It’s amazing where sport brings us. If it wasn’t for golf none of this would happen, I’d have to give a shout out to my parents and Sport Changes life for these one in a lifetime opportunity.
