Biography

What’s up, everyone? My name is Matt Scamuffo and I am beyond excited to become a member of the Sport Changes Life family as a Victory Scholar. I am from Chalfont, Pennsylvania and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS degree in mathematics from York College of Pennsylvania. While at YCP, I was a two-year captain of the men’s basketball team where I helped lead the team to a CAC league championship and a run in the NCAA DIII National Tournament. During my career, I have been named first-team All-CAC, four-time All-Academic CAC and CoSIDA Academic All-District.

During my stay in Ireland, I will be enrolled at Limerick Institute of Technology where I will be studying for my Masters of Business in Marketing and Management Strategy. I am so appreciative and grateful for this opportunity to continue my education and basketball career. I cannot wait to be integrated into the Limerick community and help change lives through sport.
