Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Courtney Walsh and I feel truly blessed to be a part of the Sport Changes Life family. I am from Windham, New Hampshire and attended Stonehill College where I attained a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. During my time there, I was a 1000-point scorer, Second Team All-Conference and captain senior year, in which we won the regional championship and made it to the Elite Eight for just the third time in program history. I am excited to continue my career in Ireland where I will be obtaining a Masters at IT Carlow in Strength and Conditioning.

Basketball has always been a huge part of my life, and life lessons and essential qualities it has taught and instilled in me is what makes me who I am today. My childhood dreams came true because of this sport, so I feel more than grateful to have the opportunity to give back to children and inspire them to chase their dreams just as I did. Being able to do so while immersing myself in the culture of beautiful Ireland makes this experience an opportunity of a lifetime. I cannot wait to get started!
