Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Ally Esielionis, I am 22 years old and I’m from Shirley, Massachusetts. I am so excited to become apart of the Sport Changes Life family! I recently graduated from Salve Regina University where I majored in Psychology. While at Salve, I was named captain for both my Junior and Senior year and honored as a member of the Commonwealth Coast Conference’s Second Team All-Conference. I was also named a recipient for our athletic department’s Seahawk Service award for my dedication to helping the community and inducted into CHI ALPHA SIGMA, the National College Athlete Honor Society. While in Ireland, I will be studying at Athlone Institute of Technology where I will be working on completing my Masters in Business.

Throughout my life, I have been blessed with a wonderful support system and some pretty amazing coaches and teammates who have helped me gain confidence and pushed me to achieve my goals both on and off the court. Through this program, I hope to be this same role model and mentor to the young people in my Irish community. I truly believe that sports have the ability to teach lessons that you can’t learn in the classroom, lessons that promote well-being, build character and improve confidence. I cannot wait to start my new journey as a Victory Scholar!
