Biography

My name is Phillip Johnson and I am thrilled for the opportunity to be a Victory Scholar!  I am from Colgate, Wisconsin (a suburb of Milwaukee, WI) and have spent my undergraduate playing golf at the University of Dayton in Ohio.  While at UD, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, studying Finance with a minor in International Business Management.  My golf experience at UD was second-to-none; I made countless friends that will last a lifetime and was able to experience my dream of playing Division I golf at a high level for four years and being a captain my senior year.  In addition to being a part of four team victories, I was fortunate enough to capture an individual title as well as having an undefeated match play record (7-0-2) in my years at UD.

At Ulster University I will be studying Sport Coaching and Performance at the Jordanstown campus.  This course of study will help me better serve the youth of the Belfast community as I look to give back to those who may not have had the opportunities that I had.  I am excited to work with Sport Changes Life and the other Victory Scholars as we hope to make a positive impact on the lives of many!
