On Saturday the Galway Titans traveled to Carlow where we played three preseason games. Lucky for us, we had a lot of chances to learn. Our team had plenty of chances to come away with victories in this tournament, but failed to do so. With our regular season opener less than ten days away, I am curious to see how much our team has learned in the weeks following our experience in Carlow. Also lucky for our team is that it is a very long season, one that has just gotten underway. One thing that I have learned time and time again throughout a career in athletics, is that it’s not where you start it’s where you finish. It will be a long journey for our team to get to where we want to be. However, I anticipate that in March I will be able to write a blog about how much progress and how much better our team has gotten through the course of the season.
