Hello everyone! My name is Justus Melton and I’m very excited to be a part of the Sport Changes Life family. I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and have spent the last four years in Carlisle, Pennsylvania at Dickinson College, where I majored in Policy Management. At Dickinson, I won a Conference Championship and made an appearance in the Division III Sweet Sixteen. I was a captain my last two years and named to the All-Conference team each of those years. I was also a 1000-point scorer and ended up top 10 in career blocks for the program.
In Ireland, I will be studying International Business at Cork IT while continuing to play basketball. I’m excited for the opportunity of seeing Ireland, while immersing myself in Irish culture. I’m also looking forward to working with the youth and local community to make a positive impact in their lives. Sports have had an immense impact on my life and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share it with others!
