Biography

Hi! My name is Adiya Henderson, but I’m also known as Dee! I am 22 years old and I am from Troy, New York which is right outside of Albany (the state capital). I went to school at St.Thomas Aquinas College in Rockland County and studied Marketing and minored in Graphic Design. This past season playing basketball at STAC, we were able to capture the conference championship and make it to the semifinals in the NCAA tournament with the most wins for the first time in the women’s program. I was lucky to be a part of a great program where I was picked as 2nd All-Team Conference 2018, Defensive Player of the Year as well as 2nd Team All-Met.

I was so excited to be apart of the Victory Scholar Program and continue playing basketball at Letterkenny Institute of Technology. It is such an honor to be with this great program and can not wait to see what the future holds!
