Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Megan Cardarelli. I am excited and honored to join the Sport Changes Life family as a Victory Scholar. I am from Manchester, Connecticut and recently graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a degree in Sport and Leisure Management. During my final two years on the Eastern basketball team, we won our conference championship. My junior year we advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen and returned to the NCAA tournament the following year.

In Ireland, I’ll be studying Business in Marketing and Management Strategy at Limerick Institute of Technology along with playing on the basketball team. This sport has taught me countless life lessons such as teamwork, perseverance, and the importance of always believing in myself. Through the opportunity that the Sport Changes Life program has given me, I hope to inspire and make a positive impact on the youth in Ireland.
