Biography

Hello everyone! My name is Shay Ajayi and I am extremely honored to be a part of the Sports Changes Life community as a Victory Scholar for the 2018-2019 School Year. I am from Brooklyn, NY and I attended Trinity College located in Harford Connecticut, graduating with a dual degree in Economics and Electrical Engineering. During my four years at Trinity College, I helped lead my team to the top of the NESCAC Conference standings twice, three NESCAC Tournaments, two NCAA Tournaments, and to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight round. I was blessed to be part of such a gifted team and was named All American, All NESCAC player of the year, All NESCAC First team and Trinity College Athlete of the Year.

I am extremely excited to embark on this journey and become an influential member in Ireland and Northern Ireland communities. I will be attending Ulster University, Jordanstown and attaining a Masters of Science in Sports and Exercise Psychology. I am honored to be a part of such a prestigious program and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to coach and inspire the youth, further my education, and continue to play the sport I love.
