Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley Russell and I am so excited to be a part of the Sport Changes Life family. I am from Braintree, Massachusetts and have spent the past four years at the University of Pennsylvania. In my time here I received my Bachelor’s degree in Economics while playing Ivy League basketball. I was fortunate to be a part of three Ivy League Championships and one Big Five Championship, while making two NCAA tournament appearances. In my senior year I was captain, earned All-Ivy Second team, All-Big Five second team, and ranked third all-time in single-season assists with 132. I am so excited to continue my career at Dublin City University, while pursuing a Masters in Management.

Being a part of the Sports Changes Life family encompasses more than just academics and athletics, but also community. I am so looking forward to being immersed in another culture, while also making a positive impact on those around me.

I am so grateful for everyone that has been a part of my journey thus far, and I am so humbled to begin this next chapter.
