Hello people! My name is Kelsey Ellis, and I’m happy to say that I’ll be a part of the Sport Changes Life family for 2016/2017! I’m from Savannah, Georgia, and I just graduated with a degree in English from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. I played basketball for all four years and was voted captain my senior year. For three of my four years at school I worked as a volunteer YoungLife leader in the community and spent a lot of my time ministering to and hanging out with high school students in Greenville.
In the fall, I’ll be attending Trinity College in Dublin and getting my master’s degree in International Management (while playing basketball, of course). I’m most excited about working with SCL to make a difference in the community in Dublin by mentoring the next generation of young people. Life will be pretty hectic with all the studying, coaching, mentoring, and playing, but I absolutely can’t wait to dive in!
