Greetings everyone! My name is Kyle Dixon and I am absolutely honored to be a member of the Victory Scholar and Sport Changes Life communities. I am originally from Poland, Ohio, a suburb of Youngstown, Ohio. I attended Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio where I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training Degree. During my basketball career as a Marietta Pioneer, I was a 4-year letter winner as well as 2-time Second Team All Ohio Athletic Conference selection. Throughout my 4 years at Marietta, our team’s had a cumulative record of and won 4 straight Regular Season conference championships as well as 1 Conference tournament championship. The teams also made 4 consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament while making a run to the Sweet 16 my sophomore year and Elite 8 my senior year.
I will be attending Ulster University Jordanstown Campus where I will be continuing my basketball career while pursuing my Masters of Sport in Sports Performance and Coaching. While in Ireland, I will be excited to immerse myself in the remarkable Irish culture. I can’t wait for the opportunity to serve as a coach and mentor for Irish youth while having a positive, lasting impact on Irish communities!
