Biography

My name is Michael Grassey, and I will be pursuing a Masters in Business Marketing at Waterford IT this year.

I grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts (suburb located outside of Boston) and graduated from Hamilton College with a B.A. in Public Policy. At Hamilton, I was named team captain my senior year.  During my career, I became a member of the 1,000 point club, and finished 3rd all-time in 3-pointers made. During my junior and senior years, our team finished with a 49-10 record, while making two consecutive trips to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.

I am excited and proud to have been selected as a Victory Scholar for this upcoming year. As a member of the Sport Changes Life family, I plan to be an active mentor and citizen within the Irish community. Experiencing the rich history of Ireland, while continuing to study, play, and serve the youth in Waterford, will be a tremendous experience for me. I am eager to immerse myself in the Waterford community, and look forward to this amazing opportunity!
