Biography

Hi everyone, my name is Samantha Hyslip! I am 22 years old and I’m from Westford, Massachusetts. I am very excited and humbled to begin this new journey as a Victory Scholar in Dublin where I will be attending Dublin City University (DCU) to earn my business masters in Human Resources. Formerly, I attended and played basketball at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts for four years. Throughout my career, I was a 1,000 point scorer. I also earned NE 10 conference rookie first team and was named NE 10 rookie of the year. I was second team all-conference my junior and senior years and was named honorable mention all-American. I was lucky enough to go to the Sweet 16 my freshman year and helped lead my team as a captain to the Elite 8 my senior year.

I could not have gotten where I am today without all the wonderful teachers and leaders that have helped me. With their guidance and support, basketball has enhanced my life in so many ways that I believe it is now my turn to give back. My undergraduate Psychology degree along with my basketball experience make me eager to start pursuing my passion of helping others! I look forward to the growth and knowledge to come in this year, cheers!
