Biography

Hello everyone! My name is Amy Hasenauer and I am beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Sport Changes Life family. I am from Rochester, New York but have spent the last four years in Worcester, Massachusetts attending The College of the Holy Cross. As a student-athlete here I studied psychology, played four years of collegiate basketball, was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2014-2015, as well as the Deans List my junior year.

While here in Ireland I will be studying at NUI Galway in the Marketing Management program. I am thrilled to be able to continue playing basketball as well as to attain my Masters, all while immersing myself in a new culture. I am so grateful for all the places basketball has brought me, all the people I’ve met and all the experiences I have gained along the way. I have had some amazing mentors growing up that have helped me learn and develop as a person and I am really looking forward to the opportunity to return this favor and become a mentor to youth over here in Ireland. I cannot wait to start this journey!
