Greetings! My name is Matthew Bauer and I am thrilled for the opportunity to be a Victory Scholar and represent the Sport Changes Life family. I am from a northern suburb of Chicago called Winnetka. This past year I graduated from Denison University in Granville, OH. At Denison I received a BA in Economics with a minor in Psychology along with a concentration in Organizational Studies. In addition, I lettered all four years in basketball with my class becoming the all time winningest class in Denison Basketball history, while also personally being named to the NABC Honors Court in 2016
Shortly, I will be attending Ulster University in Jordanstown where I will further my education with a Masters in Sports and Exercise Psychology while also playing for their men’s basketball team. Sports have been a crucial part of my life and significantly contributed to who I am today. I could not be happier to be blessed with this opportunity to continue with the game I love and use it as a catalyst to reach the Irish communities. Could not be more grateful for all that awaits and too get to work becoming an ambassador for Ireland!
