Hi everyone! My name is Lexi Posset and I am delighted to be a part of the Sports Changes Life family! I am from Beaver, Pennsylvania which is a small town outside of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I attended Rider University to further my education as well as play Division 1 basketball. Throughout my four years of playing basketball, I was on the All MAAC Academic Team each year and was a team captain my junior and senior seasons. I was also Third Team all MAAC my senior year. I left Rider’s program in the top-10 in program history in games played (119), free-throw percentage (.776) and assists (296). In December 2018, I graduated Cum Laude receiving my degree in Health Care Management. I finished my last semester working towards a Master’s Certificate in Business Analytics.
This fall I was be attending Ulster University getting my Master’s Degree in Sports Coaching and Performance. I have had multiple role models throughout my years, and I want to be able to take knowledge from this program and be a role model to others as well. Being apart of this program will allow me to get my master’s degree, continue to play the sport I love and help the community around me which will be a great experience and an honor. Basketball has brought so many opportunities into my life and created friendships that I will cherish forever. I cannot wait to mentor the youth in Northern Ireland which I hope so share the opportunities this game has brought me as well as my experiences. My biggest hope is that I am able to teach and leave a positive impression of those in Northern Ireland. I want to make a difference in the world!
