My name is Jamiyah Bethune and I am from Union, New Jersey. I recently graduated cum laude from Monmouth University where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical education with a minor in Information Technology. At Monmouth, I lead my team in field goal percentage and was named 3rd team All MAAC Conference in my senior season. I am also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority Incorporated and Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.
When I’m not playing basketball, I love taking unplanned adventures and trying new things with my friends and family. I’m so excited to be traveling to Ireland for the first time and I look forward to all the new things I will learn and the people I will meet. I hope that my work with Sports Changes Life will leave a lifelong impact on all those I encounter.
