Hi Everyone! My name is Darryl Durham and I am a #VICTORY Scholar! I spent my childhood in West Bloomfield, a suburb of Detroit and moved to Marietta, where I graduated from Kennesaw Mountain High School. I earned an athletic scholarship to play basketball for Belmont Abbey College, a small Catholic Liberal Arts College outside of Charlotte, NC. Belmont Abbey has provided me with a great education and an awesome collegiate experience! Although I was far from home, my “basketball” family has helped me grow into the person I am today. I graduated in May, 2014, with a BA in Business Management; Concentration in Sports Management. I am thrilled about the chance to study at the National University of Ireland, Galway where I will study MSc in International Management. I eagerly anticipate my arrival in Ireland as a Victory Scholar and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to grow as I serve others, with the Sport Changes Life Foundation. I know this will be the experience of a lifetime! Ireland…..HERE I COME!
