Hi! My name is Diana Allen and I’m from Elmont, New York. I graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia with a BSc in Communication. As a part of the women’s soccer team, I helped anchor our team’s defense during our two-time NCAA appearances and the first ever championship for the women’s soccer program.
While in Ireland, I will attend the University of Limerick to get my Masters in Marketing, play on the university’s soccer team, and hopefully play on a club team in the area. It’s still hard to believe that I have been blessed with the opportunity to be a part of the Victory Scholar program. Whether I was volunteering at local schools in Philadelphia or coaching summer soccer camps in Brooklyn, I have always loved working with young people and I am thrilled to have the chance to inspire those through a sport which has changed my life in more ways than I could have ever imagined.
