Hey everybody, I’m Gretchen Gaskin, I’m from Chicago. I graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University, at Indianapolis in 2011 with a degree in Marketing & Supply Chain Management. I finished my basketball playing career as captain of the women’s basketball team my junior and senior seasons at IUPUI.
I will be continuing my studies at the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) and will be playing for the NUIG Mystics basketball club in Galway, Ireland.
I’ve always enjoyed getting involved in the community and I am excited to continue to do so in Ireland! I am thrilled that there is a program like the Sport Changes Life foundation to provide student athletes like myself with an opportunity to go abroad and have new experiences studying, playing and coaching in Ireland. I have never been overseas before and I am so grateful to be chosen for this unique opportunity!
