Hello! I am Jonathan McNair and I am from Washington, D.C. I recently graduated from St Thomas Aquinas College with a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies. While studying I played basketball, captaining the team for the 2014- 2015 season. Last season I led the team to their first ever pre season National Invitational Tournament appearance and to the School’s first East Coast Conference regular season championship in their history. I was blessed to receive the 2014-2015 St Thomas Aquinas College Men’s Basketball Leader of the Year award. I have twice been awarded with the St Thomas Aquinas College Student-Athlete Award for my performance in the classroom as well as on the court.
While in Ireland I will be studying for a postgraduate degree in Communication. I aspire to be a role model and an inspiration to the youth of both Northern Ireland and Washington, D.C. by showing them that no matter what you are faced with in life, through faith, hard work, and determination you can achieve all of your goals.
