Hello! My name is Jonathan Nelson and I live in Lawrenceville, Georgia, which is located about 30 minutes from the City of Atlanta. A few months ago, I graduated from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio, double-majoring in International Studies and Spanish after playing four years of soccer for the Dayton Flyers. I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in various community service projects at Dayton that allowed my team to use sport as a method of inspiring, motivating, and leading. I realise how privileged I have been to be able to play the sport I love and gain so many valuable lessons and experiences along the way. This insight has motivated me to serve, in hopes that others can learn, grow, and flourish through the sports they love. I am looking forward to continuing my academic education at the University of Limerick while having the amazing opportunity to engage in meaningful service. I am honored to embark on this adventure, thrilled to be a Victory Scholar, and am looking forward to a remarkable year ahead!
