Hello everyone! My name is Katie Fox and I am thrilled to join the Sport Changes Life team as a Victory Scholar. I am from Twinsburg, Ohio, but have spent the past four years studying at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2015 with a degree in English and History. I was a four-year starter and three-year captain of the women’s basketball team. In my senior year, I helped lead the team towards capturing its first ever Northeast Conference Championship and to its first ever NCAA March Madness Tournament berth.
I will be studying Business, Innovation, Technology, & Entrepreneurship at Waterford Institute of Technology, and playing for the women’s basketball team. In addition, I will be working with Sport Changes Life in order to make a difference in the lives of young people in the community. I could not be more excited to study, play, and make a difference in Ireland. I am so thankful for this opportunity and cannot wait to enjoy the experience!
