Hi! My name is Katie Ganser from Needham, a suburban town about 20 minutes south-west of Boston, Massachusetts. I just graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover with a BSc in Biology. My family is my lifeline and inspiration, and I was lucky to go to school close to them. My team at Merrimack has become my family both on and off the court, we were involved in a number of community service projects, such as Habitat for Humanity.
The next step in my journey brings me to Trinity College in Dublin. I will be studying to get my MSc in Business and Management while continuing my basketball career. Most importantly, I will have the opportunity to work with younger children to help them find their own talents and discover just how much sports can and will change their lives.
I am incredibly honored to be part of the Victory Scholar family, and look forward to all that this year will bring!
