Hello all! My name is Marian Brooks, and I’m from Woodbridge, Va. I attended Norfolk State University, played division 1 women’s basketball, and graduated with a B.A. in Journalism.
This fall I will attend the University of Limerick to study International Management and Global Business. I’m super eager to be a part of this cultural enriching experience. I’m more amped to work in the community, coordinate educational programs, and make a lasting positive connection with youth through sport. I know what it takes to make the best of situations and overcome adversity. I may even have the chance to play again, but either way I know what sport did for me. I want to help the youth see not only what it can do for them, but how they can be better in all areas of their lives.
My passion is to educate, empower, and excel the upcoming generation. I am equally appreciative for the family at Sport Changes Life.
