Hi everyone! My name is Meghan McGuinness and I cannot wait to be a Victory Scholar for Sports Changes Life. I am from Lincroft, New Jersey and I graduated from Niagara University in New York with a BS in Mathematics. As part of the women’s basketball team at NU, I was a captain in my senior year, during which I became a member of the school’s 1000-point club and the all-time leader in 3-point field goals.
I will be studying to earn my M.Sc. in Business and Management at Trinity College in Dublin, while also playing on the basketball team. I am so excited to inspire the youth of Ireland and make a difference in the community as a coach and a mentor. It is such a privilege to be given this amazing opportunity and I am eager to make the most of it!
