Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Benedetti, and I am from Canton, Connecticut. I recently graduated from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York. During my time at university, I was a member of the Women’s Basketball team that made history last year, winning our first ever Northeast Conference Championship. To complete a historic year, our team competed in the NCAA tournament against the University of Connecticut, the number one ranking team in the nation.
As bittersweet as it is to graduate this year, I have a lot to look forward to as I join Sport Changes Life as a Victory Scholar. I will be attending the University of Limerick where I will be studying to earn my Master of Science in Marketing, Consumption, and Society. I am incredibly fortunate to join such an elite group, where I will get to explore a new part of the world, receive an education, but most importantly help the community through the sport I love. I cannot wait to start this next adventure in my life!
